As a Director, I refine the concept in pre-production to ensure it translates effectively to film. In this case and due to Michael's extraordinary talent this was an easy job for me.

The second phase was the actual production. With this production, the key was timing. Whenever humor is involved, the timing has to be absolutely precise - otherwise the joke or situational comedy falls flat. Since Michael has had this instinct in his blood for decades, my main responsibility was coordinating the interaction with the other actors. As Director, I coordinated set designers, technical departments, and actors alike to ensure a seamless and cinematic execution.
